Miriam in der Muhlen

Miriam’s path to success in the Holistic Wellness, Health, Fitness and Hospitality Industries began as a teenager, learning the business aspects from the ground up. She worked at several top Dutch and Italian hotels and restaurants, filling positions ranging from the front desk, to server and host. Her marketing endeavors go back to top Amsterdam agencies that are still around today. Prior to moving to New York City to start IDM Music & Bixio Music Group Ltd, Miriam worked as an official translator, increasing her fluency in five languages.

Miriam grew up in a homeopathic and naturopathic household, from an early age she was made aware of the importance of the mind-body connection which became paramount in her years as a professional dancer. Her successful career in the worldwide music, film & TV industries, and her highly rated reputation among top artists, promotors, and industry execs, would also lay the groundwork for her next business development.

In 2004, in Zagreb, she was able to combine her business acumen with her love for the healing arts to create Nava Power Yoga and Pilates Studio and  NavaWeekendWarrior™. Nava quickly became the most recognized studio in Southern Eastern Europe. As a result of Miriam’s fostered relationships throughout the Yoga and Wellness community, Zagreb became a regular stop for many of the world’s top Yoga instructors.

In 2016, she took a sabbatical to spend time in Koh Samui and Hua Hin. This personal holistic, healing journey left a life-changing mark on her and shifted her perspective on life. As Miriam puts it, “I was finally able to connect the dots. I found my balance, perpetual drive, and curiosity for learning and growth.”
